The Garnock Valley Chainsaw Carving Spectacular is back for its 8th year, bringing together some of the world’s most talented chainsaw carvers in a thrilling celebration of wood and skill.
Join us at the all new Wilson's Auctions exhibition ground in Dalry, just off the A737, where some of our incredible artists will craft stunning wood sculptures, right before your eyes.
Each masterpiece will be auctioned off at the end of the day, offering a chance for you to take home a piece of the action. Whether you're a seasoned art collector, or a first-time visitor, you'll find something truly special.
Cash and card payments accepted for carvings.

Live Carving Demos: Watch the masters in action as chainsaws roar and wood chips fly.

Interactive Stalls: From wood carving and turning workshops, to outdoor woodland crafts, there’s fun and learning for all ages and interests.

Motorbike Display - Stevenston & District Motorcycle Club - Demonstration of Trials riding - Remember Kickstart! Our top Scottish Riders will start our display between 10-11am

Beith Amateurs, Dalry Thistle and Garnock Rugby Club too - Football and Rugby activities for all.

Family Fun: Face painting, kids’ games, Story Tellers and children’s activities, will keep the little ones entertained.

Axe Throwing: Test your aim with this exciting hands-on activity! Fun one for the kids too.

Live Music & Bagpipes: Enjoy the sounds of Scotland, with traditional bagpipes and live music performances scattered throughout the day.

9.50 – Event officially opened
9.55 – Carvers are piped into arena
10.00 – Carvers begin carving
12.00 – Lunch break for carvers and sponsors
1.00 – Carvers resume main carving session
3.00 – Complete main carvings and break
3.15 – Carvings are judged
3.30 – 30 minute quick carves – £££'s raised for local benefit. Around £3000 annually.
4.00 – Chainsaw Carving Auction - all carvings

Plenty and adequate parking in the adjacent field, with excellent accessibility.
Please enter the car park from the Dalry end to avoid crossing oncoming traffic. Please stick to 5mph on site and respect our volunteers.
A separate pedestrian access will be available, next to the gate near the mini roundabout.
